The Wrackleford Estate is set in the magnificent Dorset
Downlands just north of the county town of Dorchester.
The Estate runs from the lush water meadows in the Frome
Valley to the chalk uplands, and traditional gorse downlands
on the hills. The agricultural land is interspersed with
deep valleys, and mature broadleaf woodland.
The River Frome is renowned for its high quality fly
fishing and Wrackleford is no exception, we offer
7 separate beats, which are let both on a syndicate and
day rod basis. The combination of deep chalk valleys,
coupled with woodland specifically planted for shooting
has given Wrackleford an enviable reputation as a really
sporting Pheasant and Partridge shoot.
The Estate has a number of Residential properties, of
which from time to time come available. These range from
small thatched cottages to larger Farm houses.
Wrackleford Farms Ltd farm the majority of the land with
Arable and Dairy Herds.
