Some of the Finest Dry
Fly Fishing ..............
"And so one may wander on
up the riverbank under bowers of roses, with irises on
one side and on the other tall masses of marguerites,
hollyhocks, phloxes and delphiniums, and see the trout
lying everywhere on the gravel of the babbling shallows,
till one passes out into the open water meadows."
Alan Haig Brown - 'My Game Book'
- on his memories fishing Wrackleford.

Each beat is well tended, and wild fish are supplemented
with Stocking. We do try and offer a blend of well maintained
banks, with conveniently positioned seats, without destroying
the natural beauty of these chalk streams. Waders are
essential in all beats.
Should you wish to fish on other Dorset Rivers as well
as our beats this can also be arranged - please call Oliver
Pope.
Booking is either by email (enquiries@wrackleford.co.uk),
telephone (01305 267643) or by completing the online booking form. Payment is on confirmation of
booking. Once confirmed you will be sent a confirmation
letter containing details of the fishing beat, and best
parking etc.
"I have been to The Baron's Court, River Meon and The Test in the past but Frome provided the best fishing condition and the quality/quantity of the fish was superb. " |
