One of the great advantages to a driven clay day is that you can have as much shooting as you choose, with the drives set to be as testing or as easy as you like. Every peg is guaranteed the birds, so no standing staring at empty skies whilst your neighbour blasts away as can happen on a live bird day! The Shooting Party is ideal for a group of guns of mixed ability, but not novices. We start the day with fresh coffee on the estate, a briefing by your shoot captain and then head for the first drive. Typically on an 8 Gun day it will be one person per peg, with shared pegs for the bigger days. Bring you own gun or let us loan you a gun. Similarly, additional instructors may be booked over and above the two we provide as standard. There will be two drives before lunch, followed by a decoyed pigeon shoot. We suggest that you take lunch at the local pub and after lunch we will have two more testing drives on another part of the estate. |
