The Shooting Box : Sleeps 9 + 3
| The Shooting Box is built close to the site described by Thomas Hardy in his short story
The Three Strangers (Wessex Tales), and is built partly of materials from the original building imagined by Hardy.
The Lodge has spectacular views, and stands in a small coppice containing
wild fruits and flowers. Access is via one mile of rough track - perfectly passable by
normal car if taken steady, set in the heart of the Estate. |
