The Beat

Upto 2 Rods - River Frome - 3/4 Mile - Thatched Fishing Hut

Double bank beat with a stunning brick / thatched hut at its centre, set close to Wrackleford House this is the Home Beat. Suitable for a one or two rods and is easily grouped with The Gaston Bridge Beat to extend the fishing to a larger group.

The Fishing

A varied beat with waders being helpful , but not essential. Upstream from teh hut the water is smooth, with slow meanders and deep pools. Below the hut it is wilder, with shallow runs, and faster flowing water - a good deep pool 1/3 way down.
