The Beat

1 Rod - River Frome - 1/2 Mile - Thatched Fishing Hut

The entire beat is double bank, however the left bank is prepared throughout. Fish upstream to the footbridge and downstream to teh road bridge where the parking area is. There is a thatched fishing hut set 50metres from the parking area overlooking the river.

The Fishing

Waders are helpful but not esssential. The lower part of this beat is fast flowing, with challenging currents and edies, as it moves upstream it narrows and deepens with slower moving deep pools. There is a wonderful wide pool just short of the footbridge at the top.
